Project Reflection
The final product I created for our exhibition is a Trifold board with articles and pictures on Recycled Clothing and Global Warming. I'm very proud of it, because we put a lot of work into it, and I think people will definitely be able to see that when they look at our board. Basically, this is the process we went through for our Tri-Fold: Went to the Birch Aquarium to look at the Global Warming Exhibit (that really made us more aware of a lot of the things it's doing, and just expanded our knowledge), Buy the Trifold, Research a lot about Recycled Clothing, Print out pictures and articles, glue all the pictures and articles on the board, Go to Buffalo Exchange, Goodwill and JC Penney, write a paragraph about going to the stores, finish trifold. I learned a lot about Global Warming from the Birch Aquarium exhibit, and I learned so much about Recycled Clothing from articles on the internet. A challenge I faced while creating the display was that I was absent for 2 days, so a lot of the information they'd been learning about, I didn't know. But Emma & Ms. Staff told me about the information, so I was fine. After these two weeks, I think Sustainability is Learning how to reuse your old things (such as clothes maybe?) and not have to depend on buying new items all the time, just being very resourceful. And that ties into being an environmental steward, because I think that that is just being really responsible with using resources, just picking up trash (even if it isn't yours), and not using too much non-renewable energy things. Trying to help the earth.
